About “The Golden Man”

I originally wanted to write a book on how to get laid in Los Angeles and, well… God had other plans. While meditating one morning (4/15/2012), I asked myself the following questions in looking at what my next adventure might be:

What do I love to do?  What am I good at?  What would serve the World?  Apparently, you can find your ‘SWEET SPOT’ if you have a balanced blend of these three elements in what you want to do with your life.

The answers to those questions shocked me a bit… but looking back now, it all makes perfect sense.  So, what do I love to do?  Well… several things: Teach. Lead. Inspire. Hang out with beautiful people.  Have conscious conversations. Be honest and real. Have fun. Laugh. Love.  Tell stories.  And I love to see people in relationship with one another.  That makes me so happy… you have no idea.  And, Women. I. Love. Women.

Then I asked: what am I good at?  That was easy!  Coaching, training, educating in a fun and easily applicable way.  Entertaining people.  Bringing people together, connecting.  Leading others to their life purpose and awakening them to love.  Making people laugh.  I am really good at those things.  And, Women. I am really good at being in relationships with Women.

Finally, the question: WHAT SERVES THE WORLD?  Hmmm.  I needed a little help with that one.  While my history shows I love to serve the world (as a TV host on Discovery Channel Planet Green Network) as well as being an environmental activist and leading transformational programs for the past decade.  So serving the world?  What would serve the world best is if there were no people on the planet!  But that is not the way I was told to serve the world.  God said “Michael (he calls me Michael), what will serve the world is to restore the bond between man and woman.  And I would like you do to that… lead men in loving women.”  Can’t argue with that, it’s friggin’ GOD!?!  (Although, for the record, I tried and lost the battle).

So the book idea became a simple conversation between men and women that takes place once a month in the middle of Los Angeles, West Hollywood to be exact.  The Golden Man Movement: men and women and love… and a place to start in serving what the world really wants.  BTW, you can buy a book on getting laid and good luck with that.  You can’t buy a book on The Golden Man Movement (because I am not done with it yet).

More to come… to let me know you will be joining us for an upcoming Golden Man Talk in West Hollywood, email me: michaelboisethomas@gmail.com or call 424.229.2393 or leave a comment below.  I look forward to being in this conversation with you, restoring the balance of masculine/feminine in the world.  It’s exciting and according to God, that is really what is needed.  I accept!

Stay Golden, Man.  Love, Michael  FOLLOW ON TWITTER TO GET THE GOLDEN MEN RULES  and/or LIKE the fan page on FACEBOOK.

  2. Hi Michael,
Inspired by your next act of service to mankind please let me know if there is anyway i can support the movement. We’ve never had a chance to have a heart to heart except for the fact we studied at LME simultaneously. Will you offer workshops and retreats? Can’t wait to hear and share more.
    Love and light,
